1) Use the site's address book feature. Whether you are creating your page for the first time on step 6 or using the 'invite' feature found under 'Update Existing Order Page', it is a smart idea to use the Shirt and Simple invitation system. Everyone who you invite will receive an e-invitation from Shirt and Simple with all the information they need to get on your page and order!

2) Use websites such as facebook and mySpace to inform your friends of your order page! When you create your own page on Shirt and Simple, you'll recieve an email with the URL for your unique page. Simply copy and past this on other sites or email programs and easily share the link to order with whoever you want! People can also easily access your page by searching for your name or the event name on shirtandsimple.com.

3) If you event is password protected, make sure you tell people the password! (Anyone you invite through Shirt and Simple will receive the password in their e-invitaion)

4) Provide Incentive: There are probably going to be one or two lazy people who procrastinate and wait till the last minute to get on the site. It may be a good idea to provide incentive to order sooner for these people. One idea is to order a couple extra products and then say that if people don't order by the order deadline, they will have to pay an increased rate for the extras you had to buy. The shirt company in your location will accept re-orders, but many times these take 5-7 days to produce. In many cases, this could be too late.

5) Advertise! For only $3.00 a week you can advertise your product on this site (and also mybarcrawl.com). We'll even make the add for you if you'd like! Advertising is a great way to get lots of people for large group orders. For more information, see our advertising page.

6) Have clear distribution directions: People who are ordering your product will want to know how, when, and where they can pick it up. Make sure that you keep distribution directions clear and updated at all times. Each time you make a change to your distribution directions, each person who has ordered a product from your page will receive an email alerting them of the new directions.

7) Use your friends! Have your friends tell their friends. Word of mouth is VERY powerful.

8) Give yourself enough time! Planning ahead is important. The more time you allow, the more time your invitees will have to get to your page, the more powerful the effect of word of mouth, and the more prepared you'll be for your event!

9) Ask for help! We are more than happy to help you in any way possible! Email or call us and we'll do our best to make your order perfect. As administrators of the site, we do have some room for flexibility....so go ahead...use us!
